Relativity

I can remember when I thought that 35 (or even 27) sounded "older."

I can remember when gray hairs were not even something I looked for, much less found.

I can remember when I gasped that my body required a size 7 instead of a 5.

I can remember when I was nine years old . . . and now I have a nine-year-old of my own.

I am still very young, but my, how perspective changes over the years!

I was just thinking about similar things yesterday! And you are still very young - and beautiful!

Everything is definitely relative - which sometimes feels like a relief and sometimes a little disorienting or disturbing.

Also just wanted to mention that 1 of my memories of being 9 was Julie teaching me how to do the Roger Rabbit. I showed all my friends how to do it at school the next day and earned major cool points.

I can see how you'd earn major cool points for that, Laurie.

I remember when I thought I'd feel all grown-up when I reached 38...

Sometimes I still feel like I'm 9!
