I love the idea of being able to distinguish God's voice from others, and yet I find it nearly impossible at times. In fact, that is part of the point of the poem I just posted on my blog - distinguishing God's voice from those of people and faith community's who have caused harm under the pretense of "God."
It is not easy to do, but I do find that scripture is my grounding place for coming to know God's voice. I honestly think I would have abandoned my faith long ago if it weren't for scripture! I am very thankful for texts like Isaiah 43. Thank you for sharing. :)
